What We Do

The Children’s Rainforest Project is a nature based healing arts program that works with children in hospitals, the community and orphanages. We build self-esteem and give children a sense of pride and ownership by teaching them to create hand-made tiles and ceramics. We then integrate the children's tile into beautiful permanent mosaics. These mosaics are installed in highly visible areas around the community and at hospitals, creating healing environments.

 Art is the strongest fabric in weaving a community together.  Children in the community that create permanent art and tile facades give the community an identity and give the child a feeling of ownership and pride.  The creative process of tile making allows one to connect with nature; making art from the earth and seeing the process through to the completion of permanent tile mosaics that will adorn the community for years to come. 

Artwork is precious whether you did it as child, or as an adult. If you have taken the time to draw it, then it is an important part of your life!

So, with that in mind, we created a place where artwork could be preserved, and retrieved at any time. In addition, we added a gift shop where gifts could be purchased with artwork on them, and 20% of the proceeds are donated to The Children's Rainforest Project within your chosen organization.

By following our simple guide, you may:

• preserve a high quality image of your artwork, or your children's artwork.
• Store that image on our system
• Retrieve it whenever you would like.
• Use it to make a beautiful gift for that special loved one as a reminder of you.
